The annual “Queen of the Lake” tournament at Eastlake High School has become a well-established girls wrestling tournament in San Diego. It has been running since 2013 (and was rebranded in 2018). This tournament is all about getting quality mat time opportunities for as many girls as possible, while also hosting a tournament that is cost-efficient and ends on time.

It will be a girls varsity tournament, standard 16 man bracket, double elimination, and also have novice brackets where applicable (any weight class over 16). Finals for the varsity brackets will be done on two mats under our spotlights. Novice brackets will be done in a round robin format, or standard 16-man bracket if needed. All novice matches will be 2 minutes for the first period, 1 minute second period, and 1 minute for third period.

The San Diego Section does not use contracts, so if you are interested, you must signup by filling out a Google form (located in flyer):
